BUBBLE BOX 02
The second location designed for Bubble Box, this venue takes elements from the first and implements them in a new setting. Clean, bright and warm finishes were chosen, and birchply was used extensively, introducing a natural tone to counter the coldness of traditional laundry facilities. This store operates entirely remotely, with no staff on site; The laundry functions through a self-service model. For this reason, the store was carefully designed to take into consideration possible abuse, user privacy, security, and ease of use. Signage is clearly displayed to educate users, remote security cameras are used to monitor and interact with the store’s occupants, and smart locks and lights are implemented to secure the store remotely after hours. The project implements the Brand’s existing visual brand identity, previously developed for Bubble Box by Daniel Malik.
