BARREL ONE 04
This was the fourth venue designed for Barrel One Coffee Roasters, located in Brookvale. This venue is Barrel One's first and flagship venue, originally fit out over 10 years prior. The location needed a refresh to finishes and a few functional adjustments for process and staff flow. Much of the original fitout was retained but new finishes and fittings were introduced to bring the venue in line with newer venues. Located in a warehouse within an industrial area, this aesthetic was respected, opting for cool concrete tones and steel highlights. Smart choices had to made in terms of materials and systems to ensure shut down of the premises for renovation would be limited to a few days. The project also included renovation of external finishes, external dining area planning and design of elements such as external benches and umbrellas.
