Located in Annandale, Sydney, Gentry revitalises a 1920s heritage corner block that has sat idle for decades. Originally used as a corner store, modern finishes and a fresh palette of sage and forest greens were introduced to contrast the shop's federation character, whilst still respecting it. This interplay between past and present helps to communicate the brand’s story – Gentry is a barber shop that aims to take part in an industry steeped in tradition, and adapt it for the modern man.
My services for this project involved developing the shop’s interior fit-out design, as well as Gentry’s Branding and visual identity. Being involved in all aesthetic aspects of the business has ensured that the brand maintains clear and consistent messaging.
